Never has there been a battle more paramount than that of Tequila VS. St-Germain. Okay, so there have been a few battles that rank more supreme, but none that have been more satisfying (a little less violent) and as tasty! For this clash of the cocktails, we stopped by The Public Kitchen and Bar, whose unique and sophisticated menu gave us great hopes of equally inventive, refreshing drinks. We ordered two cocktails that provoked the taste buds in deliciously different ways. One was sweet and bubbly, the other spicy and fresh. Both hit the spot. Our suggestion – pick a side and choose your own winner!
The St-Germain Cocktail (elderflower liqueur, champagne, soda)
Jalapeno Lime Spritzer (tequila, lime, agave nectar, fresh jalapeno, soda)
The Public Kitchen and Bar – check out their amazing site (it’s sure to make your mouth water!)
Depending on what you fancy (and the Savannah heat), enjoy the wrap around sidewalk seating, spacious upstairs patio, or bar ( ask for Richard!) /indoor seating. All have great atmosphere and perfect people watching! Take a peak at the interior design – it’s worth the trip!
